An internship with Utah Valley Business News lasts for a period of 6 weeks. All interns are required to write a minimum of 3 times a week for the duration of their internship.

The internship is unpaid and no school credit is provided. However, interns are provided with their own byline and a place on the Masthead.

In addition, interns are given the opportunity to have their work published online and will be issued with a free 12 month press pass to assist them in their journalistic intern role and beyond.
As the internship is based online; there is no need to worry about the morning commute! However, one must have access to a computer and reliable internet connection to be able to do the work.
